Compression & Leveling
Precise dynamic control with automatic gain leveling, adjustable ratio, attack, release, soft knee and target level.
In Advanced mode you can fine-tune the compressor beyond the standard controls. Adjust detector behaviour, RMS/peak response, zero-crossing processing, channel linking, dry/wet balance and delta monitoring, while gaining more detailed control over how the processor reacts to transients, sustained material and stereo content.
De-Ess & Breath Control
Reduce harsh sibilance and unwanted breaths while preserving the natural character of the performance.
In Advanced mode you can fine-tune the detection and processing of sibilance and breath sounds. Adjust separate attack and release behaviour, RMS detection timing, detection sensitivity and monitoring, allowing the processor to react precisely without making vocals sound dull, unnatural or over-processed.
P-Pop & Gate
Control plosives, low-frequency bursts and background noise with intelligent gating and dedicated processing.
In Advanced mode you can fine-tune plosive detection and gate behaviour with more precise timing, threshold and response controls. Shape how the processor reacts to short low-frequency bursts, sustained noise and signal transitions, with additional control over the attack, body and overall response of the source.
Tube Processing
Shape the harmonic character of the signal with Drive, Saturation, Bias, Tightness and Character controls, combined with independent High, Mid and Low tonal shaping. From subtle warmth to clearly audible tube-style coloration, the standard mode gives direct control over the overall character and density of the sound.
Advanced mode opens up deeper control over the tube model and frequency response. Adjust High and Low shelf frequencies, Mid frequency and Q, Pre Gain, Tube Hardness, Tube Dynamics and Tube Curve.

The graph modes provide a detailed real-time view of gain reduction, leveling behaviour and signal dynamics. RMS and Peak levels are displayed simultaneously, while their decay behaviour makes it easy to see how fast transients and average signal energy develop over time. This creates a clear and intuitive visual representation of the dynamics, making the graph useful not only for monitoring, but also for understanding how the processor reacts to the source. The difference between input and output peak levels provides a useful indication of how aggressively the processor is affecting fast transients. This is especially helpful when using very short release times, where excessive peak differences can reveal audible distortion or other dynamic artefacts.

Input & Tube Processing
- Pre-tube High, Mid and Low tonal shaping, with adjustable High and Low shelf frequencies plus Mid frequency and Q, for precise control over which frequency ranges drive the tube stage.
- Drive, Saturation, Bias, Tightness and Character controls for detailed tube behaviour.
- Unlike conventional saturation, the Drive response can be tuned so that harmonic coloration changes non-linearly with signal level. Strong transients can remain relatively clean while decaying notes move into a richer saturation region, creating evolving harmonic character throughout the sustain and decay.
- Tube Hardness controls how gradually or aggressively the tube stage moves into nonlinear operation.
- Tube Dynamics models level-dependent compression behaviour found in different tube circuits and output-transformer stages.
- Tube Curve adjusts the overall nonlinear transfer characteristic of the simulated tube stage.
Dynamics & Monitoring
- Pre Gain, RMS/Peak processing, Dual Mono and Bypass options.
- Zero-Cross Processing can reduce artefacts at very short release times by applying level changes around waveform zero crossings instead of continuously reshaping the waveform.
- Extreme leveling range: input level differences of up to 90 dB can be reduced to virtually 0 dB difference at the output, allowing very large dynamic variations to be brought to a consistent target level.
- De-Ess detection uses an adjustable frequency-dependent trigger level, allowing precise control over where sibilance detection becomes active.
- De-Breath detection uses zero-crossing analysis over a defined time window, converting the crossing rate into an effective frequency estimate. This provides a highly responsive way to distinguish breath noise from normal vocal content.
- Both De-Ess and De-Breath processing control the overall signal level rather than filtering the audible audio path, so the original phase response remains unaffected.
- Advanced sidechain detection with an adjustable low-pass filter and tunable Focus frequency with positive or negative gain. Boost selected frequency ranges to make the compressor react more strongly, or attenuate them to make the detector less sensitive. This can be used to soften guitar pick attack, control resonant transients or prevent unwanted frequency content from dominating the compressor response. Because the filtering is applied only to the detector path, the audible signal and its phase response remain unaffected.
- Delta Peak monitoring compares input and output peak behaviour and can help reveal excessive transient alteration or potential distortion at very fast release settings.
- RMS and Peak levels can be viewed simultaneously, providing a clear picture of both average signal energy and fast transient behaviour.
